Christmas tree collection

Sunday was quite cold, and also a bit wet and windy. Monday was less cold and although it wasn’t windy, it wasn’t hugely inspiring. So it was that two intrepid teams of three from Pulborough Shedders ventured out on both days to support the Rotary Club of Storrington and Pulborough. We helped to collect Christmas trees from local residents who have kindly given money for the service. We understand that 50% of this money goes directly to Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice. and the remaining to other local charities. We all felt that it was time very well spent.
