Tesco donate £1500 to Pulborough Shedders

Everyone at the Shed was overwhelmed by the support shown to us through the Tesco Blue Coin scheme ( Tesco Stronger Starts). Despite being up against two other very worthy causes, we were given a resounding “first place”. Photos show the state of the vote in late December, with the Shedders pile being in the centre. They also show some Shedders with Karen and Shaun, two of the Pulborough Tesco managers.

This money makes a very real difference to us. The £1500 will be spent on vital equipment for our new Shed in Thakeham.

Pulborough Shedders would like to give a massive Thank You to Tesco. We would also like everyone in the local community to know that we were staggered by both the support shown by people voting for us with Blue coins, and by the very many messages of good will we received. We are very grateful.
